I had to replace one of these so called modification air ducts today on a car owned by a local chap, photo's below. If you are an owner with a car with the bellows cut away from the air intake duct then get it replaced asap, if not damage to the MAF will be inevitable.

Pointless waste of money on a family saloon, and if oiled, kiss goodbye to your MAF sensor, use a quality standard filter, if in dusty area change twice as often.

K&N designed for short use race tracking not for 15k miles or similar long service intervals.
