I believe I am the customer Cathy refers to here. She sent me my unit just before Chinese new year with TMC apparently fitted, but now it is installed there is no sign of it. The IGO8 software notifies me that there is no TMC hardware detected, so she is now investigating.

To be honest, I'm not so bothered but as I paid $40 for it, I need to seek some compensation for its absence. A reversing camera perhaps, but I will pursue that one after she finishes investigating.

I have fitted an Xtrons DVB-T unit purchased from ebay for ,I think,£40 delivered.The analogue built in tv never worked on mine as the signal has been switched off in the Granada region so I have removed the internal tv module from the unit with out any problems as the DVB-T unit plugs into the AUX input on the flyleads.

David I do have a program that tests the TMC on the unit, if you PM me with your email address I will forward the program for you.

Hi all one small question by removing the TV modue card as picky747 has done will this then skip the mode option for the now obsolete TV function
