Default saloon roof bungs

Anyone got a link to any blanking grommets that fit in the roof rack mount holes on the saloon roof? Fed up of the OEM ones flying off on one of our saloons.

Cheers

Hiya Rick

Halfords do them in the "nut and bolts" packs section of the store.

Think it's an "all sorts sizes" pack, so you may need 2 packs.

I thought it was rubbish that they flew away (or the gremlins got them) until 2 of mine "disappeared". It makes all the difference like go faster stripes.

I think there's a Magpie with a fetish for rubber bungs (shiny metal's for other Corvids).

Edit : https://www.halfords.com/search?q=blanking+grommets. Think it's the HFX216 pack, size 13mm, IIRC.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193519521872I got these, maybe pricey compared to the bungs etc but they are a really good fit and feel More like a plastic than a soft bung. I only fitted mine a couple of months ago and the ZT lives in the garage so cannot comment on how well they weather yet.

It's a funny thing but when they do go missing the empty hole draws your eye to it.----Very weird but true.---
