So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Adieu.
Well, after 12 years ownership and 62 thousand miles, I've decided to pass my Tourer on to my son-in-law.
It's never let me down, leaving me stranded, but as it gets older and I certainly get older, I have decided to not push my luck, and have replaced it with something much newer in the form of a BMW 520d Tourer. I wish to thank everybody on the Forum over the last year or two who have helped me with good sound advice when I have needed it. Also, thanks to Jules and Terry (TSAUTOS) who have done splendid work on my car. Out of habit I am sure I will still be regularly looking on the Forum. Once again, many thanks, "And it's goodnight from him". |

I, like you have moved on to a Beemer and shouldn't be frowned upon as if it wasnt for them no R75. I come on here every day as its full of decent folk and enjoy the pictures etc.
Plus in reality people will move on as the cars get older etc can still be enthusiasts. Its a car club after all. Last edited by coab; 3rd August 2016 at 19:32.. |

Good luck with the BMW, it's always nice to see members pop back onto the forum even after moving onto a new car, it just shows how they feel about the club and what a good place it is to be.
