Many thanks for the heads up. Good article - funny how a dire situation can help focus the mind to produce a great product.
Land Rover had a similar situation after it launched the Range Rover which was “top of the range” and expensive - but the Japanese created a new market in the middle ground between the Defender and the Range Rover. So Land Rover raider the parts bin and came up with the Discovery in a very short development period. So an interesting analogy with the ZT’s very fast development. |
