She was a very cute and helpful little goldfish I especially liked it when she tried to give me money instead of the other way round😀

And the saga continues! Can you buy a RIBE M8 in Scarborough from any of the 4 car parts shops/tool sellers?

No you cant and you can only order a £50 laser tool set with a 2 week delivery!

Evilbay is your friend however. I have ordered 3 different sets with a combined price under a tenner, in the hope one will turn up within the week!

there was a discussion I think on one of Dawns rgeads about the bit needed and it seemed there were 3 possibilities, Torx 50, Torx 50 plus and Ribe 8.

luck of the draw which one you need

I was lucky as Artic had already loaned me one that fit when doing my carpet, so I messaged him and asked what we'd used, then got the same! I bet the V6 is different. Will have to check that at some point just to see!

Ive ordered the Ribe bits but tried a Torx T45 which fitted! Did the back seats but then snapped the bit trying to free the front seat bolts!

Tried to fit the DD unit again today as well, as the HI Line is faulty and wont play cds. Gave that up for a bad job there aint no BMW plug in my car! put it all back together and now the Hi Line is completely dead! Time for an auto electrician I think!

omg another set of bits i potentially may need

never even heard of these before!

better to have them on them shelf than get stuck half way through a job so would these be a worthwhile buy?
