....and there's more! Boeing spaceflight timer cocks up!

or

as it may have said once to passengers-

"You are on the world's first fully automated pilotless flight. There is no need for you to worry. Nothing can possibly go wrong....wrong...... wrong.... wrong......"

I much prefer mechanical things with a person at the controls....... preferably with a spare person too!

I see Boeing announced aloss of profits first in over 20 years no surprise really.
Still a lot of work to be done and there thinking mid 2020 before the max is ungrounded. I wouldn’t be surprised to see that date move out as they’ll be a lot of work checks etc to get them back in the air.

Please accept my apology Phil, I some how missed this post. From a crew quality perspective the likes of BA, Quantas and Virgin would get my vote, but that is not to say that I support the business model or owners/vested interests of any of those companies. I am not a fan of Mr Branson and his business tactics, but I have great respect for his cabin crew and give some kudos to him for his affinity to utilising the skills and grounding of former military personnel. They have been through the beasting and the grinder of stress testing. No one is perfect and there will always be the exception but I would trust the tried and tested more with my wellbeing than those of less experience and a shorter route to a flight deck.

Reading between the lines I reckon it could be in there from the manufacturing process. Very shoddy what ever it is.

Apparently there is still no timescale for these aircraft to return to the air.
