Brand New Engine Undertrays.
First time I've seen this:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rover-75-...W+%28Diesel%29 Is it something new? Or have I missed out on something?

Please don't buy one of these ! They are made from cheap plastic and have little or no rigidity not to mention the fixing holes being in the wrong location I fitted one for a member and I had to re drill most of the holes because they were at least 20 mm (3/4 inch) out of alignment and even when fitted it didn't fit tight up to the subframe Hope this helps Regards Steve Last edited by steveo; 2nd September 2018 at 09:14.. |

They are NOT very good as mentioned above,Also they do not have the sound deadening padding on them .It is what you see just a Plastic Tray.

My cheap, plastic, Polish undertray fitted ok, just 1 hole needed redrilling- 1 of the 4 connecting to the front valance. Doesn't flap or rattle, and keeps the road spray out of the engine bay - so it doesn't need to be Rolls Royce quality. If you are going to fit an expensive one, make sure you remove it yourself before letting a garage service your car. I can't believe the number of other makes I see with their trays hanging off and flapping (mainly VAG).

They are cheap plastic from China ..........AVOID !!!
They are also highly inflammable unlike the originals which are fireproof and made of a much harder fibreglass compound

Out of interest (and because I've never compared them ), is there any difference between a V6 and diesel undertray ?
