When you stop the wipers drop down a setting, i.e. when on slow they drop to intermittent and if on intermittent they stop.

I seem to recall that these standard settings can be changed with a T4 sessions.

Think this maybe covered in the owners handbook.

Just the speed setting on the end of the stalk.
If it stops when stationary, it could mean that the "Intelligent wipe option" has been selected by T4, this can also be disabled if you want
Options via T4 Intelligent wipe (wiper speed goes down a notch under 5 mph) on or off
Programmed wash wipe (no program or 2,3 or 4 wipes)

I asked this very question some years ago, really took me by surprise and as now for Gandalph, the forum came to my rescue and explained all

Me too, when I collected my 75 it was raining and I really panicked when the wipers stopped for the first time.

It instantly gives you that “ oh heck what have I bought “ feeling.
