Clever move ??? I think so!!!
The punter who stood to win lots of dosh has cashed out early.
He has taken £29,000 and considering his minimal stake thats a result . Ok he could have had a heluva lot more if Leicester City win the League but i think he has boxed clever . If your not interested in football this threads not for you. |

Only kidding Your probably right but if Leicester (and won't that be great for the neutrals) do win the league I bet he will be kicking himself a little bit

Good luck to the lad
Worst case scenario - Leicester don't win the title, and he's waved goodbye to £100K....... he'll be gutted. Best case Scenario - Leicester win the title, he's won £100k What he's "settled" for - £29k already in his pocket, and he can now enjoy the title run in without the added pressure of losing £100k. If Leicester do win, that's an added bonus. As an Arsenal supporter, believe it or not, I want Leicester to win it. It'll be sticking 2 fingers up to all the teams (mine included) that believe spending a fortune is the only way to win the title. Plenty of teams have spent a fortune over the years and won nothing - You've also got to play as a team. |

I think he has done the sensible thing, £20 odd grand is not to be sniffed at, unless you're an overpaid footballer of course

I wish he had got more the 29k but its a long way from 100k. to a point I hope lecister don't win the title so that his decision becomes the right one.
