Default Upgrade interior to leather

When looking for a leather interior does it matter what year is the car? Do all saloon interiors fit all saloon cars?

Just had my mk2 fitted with beige leather,to replace black. Beige was from mk1. Fitting was O.K. but Trebor and Devlish had to make some alterations to electric connectors.

The leather is supposed to be better quality on the early cars, arm rest leather also on early cars, vinyl on later cars.

Thanks Ryzard,

I need a dark set, black or blue really. Anyway my missus has just ruled out the expenditure altogether. "Your car has seats, whats wrong with them?".

Tell her leather ones are usually heated, ladies seem to be keen on them

They don't have to be expensive either, I bought a mint set a couple of years ago for £100ish
