All cars need to be very well maintained in Japan due to the strict equivalent MOT testing. Talking of which the ticket on the 214 has expired.

I say this as a friend owns a pristine 1993 416SLi automatic with less than 16000 miles on the clock, which belonged to his late father from new, that he tried and failed to sell for £1200.

It may be they couldn't break into the Volvo, so took the Rover as transport. Then found out how to get the Volvo so came back for that. Usually not the brightest stars in the sky doing this...

However,sometimes these thefts are the end result of a personal vendetta against the people rather than wanting the actual vehicles.

Whatever, utter scumbags ruining someone's pride and joy, particularly in these difficult times
