I'm so sorry to hear this. Losing a dog is an unimaginably painful experience.
What a beautiful girl. Rest in peace.

Sorry Andy and Debs, just seen this sad news about Tiddy. The final act of love in taking Tiddy to the vet was a tough call you had to make. We went through this last year when we put 3 of our dogs down. Tiddy RIP

We send you both our sincere condolences.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Pets are part of the family. My thoughts are with you. I feel your sadness.

I had a cat for 14 years. In 1999 he developed a brain tumor and I made the necessary but heartbreaking decision to have him put to sleep. I was totally devastated, still am. Worst day of my life by miles. That animal gave me more love and affection on the day that I adopted him than my family showed in 33 years. I severed ties with them in 1987.

Andy/Debs that is sad news, the last best friend we had, we had the vet come round the house to put him to rest, I cradled him as he went to sleep 14 years old, I vowed I would never have another one because of the traumatic experience he was one of the family and grew up with my two boys.

I really feel for you.

Dogs come into our lives to teach us about Love,
They depart to teach us about loss.
A new dog never replaces an old dog, it merely expands the heart.
If you have loved many dogs, your heart is very big.

Dogs are such loyal companions and best friends who are just pleased to see you when you re-unite. (No 'Where have you been etc?)
We lost our much loved stray cat which we brought back from Saudi Arabia. She was a bit like a dog and followed us everywhere. When she got sick we took her around the UK for a final tour. I remember the vet saying 'You have to let her go now. If I didn't know you better I'd accuse you of cruelty for not putting her down earlier!'
That did shake me up at the time. Rubbish decision to have to make. All the best for going forwards in 2021. We never forget our pets.

Andy I am so sorry to hear this. Dogs are the best and they give such heartache when they pass.
Again so sorry to hear this.
