Morning Ian, the work you have put into your garden clearly is paying off, the lawn is looking nice and green. The rain will be welcomed What is happening in the pots and greenhouse?

Morning Steve, you write about the scan and telephone consult, was it good news or are you worried?

Morning everyone, it’s foggy this morning.
Woke up to to one long and 3 short blasts on the fog horns in Plymouth Sound. Was hoping to drive down to Cape of Cornwall today, but will see if the fog clears.

Morning Phil Thank you Sir After it was dug up earlier in the year by the electric board to lay our new electricity supply I had to get it sorted again as it looked dreadful back then, Glad to say it's looking good again. The greenhouse has got all tomatoes, cucumbers & gherkin plants in & the other greenhouse has got mostly bell pepper plants with a few more tomato varieties. Those in the 30ltr pots are potato, beetroot, carrot varieties & celery.

Well I cant speak! I've been trying to book an appointment for my second jab for seven weeks since I got my letter but the NHS site wanted to send me to vaccination centres miles & miles away which I said I'll wait until my local centres are available.
I've tried ringing my doctors (who has been awol for 9 weeks) even the receptionist has no idea of his whereabouts I got a number to try from my sister this morning & the NHS lady has got me an appointment at my local clinic this evening She said you're well overdue for your second & you should have rang this number, I didn't know about this number then, the site said to keep trying regular to get a local vaccination centre.

Morning all - well, nearly afternoon but who's clock watching .
Glorious sunny day here and hot. Quizzie's hiding indoors which is very sensible. Really do need to crack on with getting the Tourer washed, vacuumed and generally ready for the trip up North but it's waaaayyyy too hot to do it. Maybe if I leave it until about 8pm or just let the overnight downpour do it for me . Remember that only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the Midday sun . |

Not a great day here, cool, cloudy, supposed to be rain overnight but never happened, looks like I'll need to get the hose out and water the pots etc.
Hi Phil, basically the liver is performing its main function well enough but seems to be at the cost of some of the other functions I didn't even know it performed. Everything I mentioned to the specialist the reply was "that's normal" or "that can happen". He's going to speak to my GP to get me on omeprazole long term, I get fearsome acid indigestion presumably because of all the meds I'm on. I'd been nicking my wife's omeprazole but been trying to get my own supply, when I try they put me on a one month supply, phone back when its done. Usually a few days after I've finished them the acid returns and I have the hassle of trying to speak to a doc to get more. Last edited by stevestrat; 16th June 2021 at 11:03.. |
