Yeah we usually do that but she has a sixth sense & somehow can tell it's vet time & scarpers without even setting eyes on the cat basket.

A bit of a tip for getting pets into baskets.

Regularly put their food in the basket. That way they associate the basket with good stuff - food - not bad stuff - a visit to the vets. Might not be quite so good for cats but generally works for dogs.

Quizzie generally tries to launch herself across across our vets counter 'cus she knows that there's treats there . Never have any issues with visits to the vets . Usually get dragged from the car park into reception and the staff are brilliant with her.

Thank you Ian, I don’t envy you having to take the cat to the vet. Are you able to ask the vet to do a home visit if there are difficulties.

Our last visit to the vet was when one of the dogs ran under the wheels of the car as I was driving out. By the time I got the dog to the vet, she was in too much pain to be moved, so the vet and myself put her to sleep in the car. In those final moments little Anchy was very brave. That was 2 years ago, still get flashbacks. Sorry to be morbid but the talk of the vet, brought it back.

All the best for Monday.

I'd imagine you'd pay through the nose for a vet home visit . . . . if they do them at all.

Gave the girls a flea treatment today, use Wilko's own stuff, works and a hell of a lot cheaper than brand names. Wilko does a pack of three treatments for a fiver, Bob Martin single treatment is £4.50.

Cool

Allen prepared the living crab for Michael to have with his dinner tonight. And not a piece was missed. I had to settle for ham.

I'd prefer the ham myself Bob, no seafood here for me.

Cool

Morning everyone.

Another grey start to the day, although last couple of days the weather has turned out nice. Easy day today and tomorrow, driving back to London on Monday. Don’t want to be too tired.

Anyone heard from Georgia’s Dad, Steve or Rod?
