Default Fan motor brushes going spare

Hi,
I fitted new brushes(from Engineering Carbon Products) to my fan motor but it didn't solve the problem. I ended up buying a complete new assembly as it turned out the commutator was goosed.
So I have a set of brushes that have just been soldered on and then de-soldered. So if you are likely to need to replace your brushes, let me know.
Thanks,
Malc

Hi Malc.

I'll take those. I know my 3 speed fan isn't working on 1 or 2 but haven't had chance to pull it apart so, with a bit of luck, new brushes will see it working again. There's a law that says it won't but it's worth a try .

PM me with the costs incl some beer tokens for yourself.

Cheers.
