Default Redfive progress thread.

I've owned redfive for 5 months now and have started getting stuck into adding my own mark on the car, so thought it's time to start the mandatory progress thread as with other cars I have or have previously owned.

Just a little background on the car, Redfive used to belong to Ian G who purchased it when it was just 5 years old and began modifying the car with the addition of the motobuild lowering springs, genuine xpower side skirts, colour coded seat leon cupra R front splitter and stainless twin pipe back box. He also had the dash colour coded in firefrost along with a wood steering wheel colour coded, and sourced red monaco seats to fit to the car.

It was then sold to Bob (Flying Banana) who had the Dare DR-RS alloy wheels fitted which really sets off the car. The car was then sold back to Ian, before going back to Bob again and then I purchased it in August 2019.

Here's a couple pics of it outside Bob's residence prior to collecting.

On the drive home:

and when she arrived home

Got quite a few plans for the car, not going to be changing it's look very much, but will be building on it.

First mod done were the custom dials I designed for the car, keeping with the redfive theme

Converted the leds to red for the dials and blue for the bottom mileage screen and IPK screen

Will have to get some photos of these fitted to the car, the interior has a blue and red LED theme which seems to really work well together.

Over the weekend I fitted the custom headlights, fog lights and lower grill DRLs which has really transformed the front end, looks even meaner than ever.

Also installed the custom led sill kick trims over the weekend, keeping with the redfive theme.

Default more modding

Been busy this weekend doing some more modding on Redfive.

Installed the following:

- Blue footwell lights in front and rear footwells.
- Full leather interior fitted with heated front seats, both front seats are electric memory with height adjustment (made the passenger side one last year)
- rear seat twin cup holder fitted from a rover 75
- android double din head unit fitted with reverse camera
- subwoofer in boot
- OEM reverse sensors retrofitted
- driver's side cup holder
- blue LED boot lighting
- heko wind deflectors fitted

Still got more planned, got a set of powerfolds to go on but got some other plans for the door cards so will do all that together. Also got to prep and spray the rear bumper side skirt pods to match the full length side skirts

Very pleased with how this car is shaping up

Some pics of the latest mods
