Default T4 needed on an MGZT 260

Hi
Is anyone near to the Lincoln area who can T4 my project MGZT 260?

Fob operates the locks but doesn't open the boot, it does move the front seat forward instead if I keep your finger on the fob button, the boot does open via the interior button though
And the front one shot windows aren't working. The front windows do go up and down though if I keep my finger on the switches

Willing to travel as long as it's not 100s of miles away
Many thanks

Is your 260 a mki or mkii?

The remote boot release is only a feature on the MKII models. Although if you have a MKI a BCU from a MKII can be coded to your car to get the remote boot release working.

On the MKI models the long hold of the unlock button moves the memory seat to the memory setting associated with that key.

In regards to the windows, all four are one shot down to open them but only the driver's one is one shot up.

It's a face-lift model. None of the windows one shot down
Have to assume a T4 session will get these issues ironed out?

Good luck, V8s can be very funny with a T4, mine didn't like Russ' one poking about in its private bits. In fact it had a hissy fit (did the swap the window switches trick) and Russ had to phone Brian who told him the solution once he'd finished laughing. Brian had it on his T4 sometime later, took numerous attempts, almost had to do a Basil Fawlty and hit it with a stick to get it to speak to the T4.
