Same unit as Seans with a price of £379.99 + Delivery + £20 for the TMC with a free reversing camera...

They "buy in" from China ( Probably the same factory !) and send out from Manchester !..

So many choices ! lol

Reply I got from the guy on Ebay...

I sent....

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, can you give me an exact price Including RDS / TMC then please ?...

Do you send them out from the UK then ?...so no import charges etc ?...
Can I collect from Manchester...

They Replied...

£399 all in, and the units we order from abroad and then we pay the import tax, when it arrives i will call you and you could come and collect, we have a constant supply of these units,
28 day returns policy and a 12 month cover in the event of something going wrong, all the best and many thanks

Interesting.....
Mark, I contacted this seller and he had no idea about this unit, he was claiming TMC, RDS and dvb-t built in but when I pushed him he could not promise that any or all these fetures would be installed as he had never even seen one of these units and had just copied and pasted the details from the Huligan site, as we all know they have been claiming TMC and RDS from the start and the units they have ship have been a bit pot luck.

Also the unit from sean with TMC and RDS works out cheaper delivered and no import tax, I know this seller says uk based but also told me the units would be shipped direct from china.

If you ask sean he may still have a few coupons for his units with TMC which does indeed bring the price down to £370.
Richard

In addition to what Richard has said, I AM VERY weary of buying from sellers who we do not know, my last unit (NOT FROM Sean) went wrong after 3 days they told me to send it back to the factory, which cost me £70.00, to which they said they would refund to which I have NEVER received any refund, and to make it worst I then got a invoice from DHL for the customs duty when they returned the unit back to me, and it WAS STILL not working right after waiting 6 weeks for it to be returned.

Sean honoured his warranty and fully refund my postage charge after mine MG unit went wrong. I would stick with a seller that you can trust if that firm are advertising the unit with TMC and RDS even as an option cost I WOULD not trust them.

What a can of worms I opened here !...

This is why forums are so great, because people know things or know other people who do !...And we share our experiences good and bad !

By the way, no offence meant to you Sean, I just like to play devils advocate on occasion !

I did see the voucher offer but it's two weeks past the end date !

WOW ! Ill take it ! Mine is about £370"

Their delivery charge is £16.99 not £55 !...or free if picked up in person

On your website the price inc the TMC option comes up at

Total: £436.70
Total: €516.42
Total: $644.00

Where does the £370 come from ?

Making you work here Sean ! lol...
Mark the website price is not the same as the members price.
Sorry I am in Canada and saw the International shipping Price.

In reality His compares to this one: I assure you it has no TMC and it is not possible as an add on. at £349.00 Including shipping. Remember warranty and Honesty count !

Thanks for that Sean, I would tend to agree with you and the fine members here, when it comes to not believing the guy !..

I did what you said and asked the questions....up to now...no answer ! lol

At the moment I am torn between the one you have and a different double din
with the seperate fascia adaptor for the 75..

Can you PM me the payment details for yours, deposit and final payment etc...

Cheers

Mark

No Offense taken Mark, really, I took about 2 weeks to straighten out the misinformation to other members. Better to be certain ! We took 4 Months to get the factory to agree to provide with TMC and previous to that took 2 Months to get RDS . They are a Tough sell.

PM'ing you Payment and Order Details

If I left the HK out of it, would it then plug straight in. ie can I bypass HK and connect speakers from head unit.
