With my isolation ending thursday 23:59 I got in molly and gave her a good clean out, hovered out, leather cleaned and treated, original factory mats washed and refitted (drivers side is looking a bit scraggy now and will need replacing this year if I can find one with the rover logo embossed).
Providing the weather plays ball tomorrow I will be giving her a good wash.
If weather is pants then I will be pulling the ipk out and fix the lines with the rework station.

Need to get some of that wheel cleaner that turns purple when it pulls iron particles out.

edit: Just sound some tan tailored ones on ebay for £18.62 with 48 hour free delivery so shall get some pictures up of them when they arrive. They look good quality so shall see.

Found a welder in Rugby to fit the sill repair panel that I bought from Tom Hobbs. The other work is planned for 5th February.

There have been a few hiccups along the way but I'm getting there, slowly but surely.

As someone who has only just joined the site today and only had their car a month, I’ll share what I’ve done this week.
I gave my Ignition Blue ZT-T a wash and drove 80 miles to collect a new boot floor/carpet as mine had a rip in it and no handle.
The floor turned into an even bigger bargain when the seller gave me a matching can of spray paint for free along with it

As I walked home from the newsagent this morning I noticed a puddle in front of the n/s front wheel. A quick check showed a few drips coming off the undertray, strongly smelling of diesel.
Hopefully I found the source of the leak, which was seeping out around the jubilee clip on the outlet side of the under bonnet diesel pump.
I tightened it and all seems well, though I did notice the hoses are starting to perish to and from the diesel filter. Time to source some spares I think.

I also noticed a few drops of red coolant around the seems on the header tank, I think the cap maybe leaking.

Replaced the front wear sensor, had to buy a new trolley jack as my old one gave up the ghost, I also drove up the 2nd steepest Street in Scotland today which made a video for my YouTube Channel.

Carried out an oil and filter change today at 201000 miles on my tourer and went to update my service section in the handbook and realised I've reached the last page where it asks you to update any major component changes such as engine etc. I've done all my own servicing bar the first one which was done by the dealer.

Time to order a new handbook from my MG Rover dealer as advised lol !

Who would have thought when these handbooks were being issued that twenty years later a new one would be required !
