Morning all.

Dry, bright, mild and quite calm here. Thinking about getting the washing on the line .

Bird feeders are up and being used and Quizzie has chased her first squirrel . The little scoffers don't take long to sniff the bird food out . I'll see if I can get some photos later.

Take care all.

PS. Andy - have you got a new kettle yet

No kettle yet Andy, awaiting delivery at some point today, no doubt it’ll get taken back as I’m not it to collect!

Good afternoon everyone, this morning we took a dining room table to a furniture restorer, an interesting elderly gent who is on his 5th marriage, in his 80’s and still working. He showed us his collection of vintage steam engines, a vintage Rolls and a vintage Bentley, lovingly restored by himself. We met his 5th wife, a lady in her 70’s and had a coffee with them both overlooking a lake and a forest in the grounds of their house. The lake is fed by a river which has otters and the forest has 50 monkeys, a fascinating visit.

I am having a break from Facebook, so today I deactivated my account.

A nice day here at 28C

There's a nasty severe cold/flu bug going around Bob, we've both had it.

Saw the GP today, thorough once over . . . . including a prostate exam which came as a surprise When I say it came as a surprise he did warn me he was going to do it but its not something I was expecting today . . . . not something that I want again in a hurry either.

Finally got my replacement/additional meds. He hasn't taken me off metformin, its a slow release one he's given me, bl00dy horse pills though! Additional ones are iron and folic acid plus he's referring me re the low iron and low hormone levels.
