Dull damp and overcast here in the land of the Eel
Took a trip to a large Swedish store in Milton Keynes yesterday and passed the
Caldecotte Arms a venue for some great meets in times past.
Although I'm no longer a MG/Rover owner I do miss the get togethers and it's a shame that with a few noticeable exceptions they don't happen anymore As others have said there seems very little interest from "the Green team" in promoting the club at a regional level. I've just had a look at the regional secretaries list and a couple have not been on the forum for some years yet are still listed in purple. It would be a sad day if this club became an online forum without any social gatherings.
Not a rant purely an observation
Have a great day I'm putting some flat packed furniture together today, something that I actually quite enjoy.

Morning all - just .

Been out with Quizzie - who is now, of course, soaking wet .

Had a text from Rich to let me know that his phone was flat last night and has friends coming round this morning.

Good for you my friend. We're all with you on your journey and are here to help you up when you stumble.

Take care everyone and cherish the friendships you have.

Hi Richard, have repairs to your skull been completed?

A good result from the cardiologist today, nothing sinister. My recent problems were caused by a side effect of blood pressure medication forcing my heart to slow down to 37 and go into first degree heart block. Since stopping the medication my blood pressure has been normal and the heart will gradually return to normal. CT and MRI scan brain showed normal ageing changes. CT chest showed aneurysm not requiring immediate surgery. CT scan showed bladder narrowing and bladder diverticuli. I have been referred to urologist for urodynamic studies and ultrasound. No sign of cancer anywhere, so I count my blessings.

You know me Richard, even before the accident you went through a similar period in your life and came out of it okay. I will always challenge those negative thoughts. We have talked about the feelings pulling you back. Remember Fiona and your family. By all means send a private message.

Thank you Richard for telling us. It is known that certain tablets can trigger a depression as a side effect of the medication, so don’t be so hard on yourself. Given what you have been through in the past and now, all of your mates here have reached out to you, so please do take up their offers.

But I am go to be waiting for my head operation which will take me weeks and will remove most of my work as people can go to someone else, they can get someone to choose someone new and I .lcan be unworkable for the long time
If I dont get into this time , otherwise could even go until. next year before starting work.
