Hi Janet. I also asked if anyone could point me in the right direction for a disc for the satnav a few weeks back but I could not find one. If you do manage to find where we can get them from, and the same from me, I would be very grateful if you could let me know.

I have a mk3 sat nav unit in my hi line and it works fine. I don't think it works with the old mk2.
you can tell the difference by looking at the unit. If your not sure, do a search on here for photos

Sorry for the very late reply but stuck in Hong Kong to do the Christmas shopping and could not remember my password. Yes I know it is hard being a pensioner!
We had a VDO sat nav in our MGF back in 97. The CD drive was a generation earlier than the Mark 1 in the 75. I found all the VDO map discs worked perfectly in our MGF and in our Mark 2 and Mark 3 and Mark 4 (DVD) drives in the 75 so please do not worry about the discs compatibility across the types on VDO drive - buy off eBay with confidence. As an aside, our I Pace comes with maps covering the whole of Europe, Russia and all the Stans together with Iceland and Greenland. Now need to decide whether to go on a motoring holiday to Greenland or Afghanistan next year to test them out. Also get free upgrades to the maps every month.
