I thought a well-known girl was telling us that we oldies had stolen the youngsters future - now they are not only stealing ours, but quite possibly their own as well.

got me letter today from 10 downing st about the virus signed at the bottom by our pm hope he makes a speedy recovery rgds mark

I am sure he will appreciate your support and take comfort from it and will boost his morale I was a patient in ICU in 2011 and in 2015. It’s a miserable place to be in with patients coding around you with some not making it. I am evidence to the contrary and recovered. It’s positive news, that his treatment is being managed without the need of full mechanical ventilation. It’s also good news he is stable.

We had two members of our family ill at the same time many years ago, One was on cpap and the other a ventilator. I will never forget those few days, the ventilator although a good thing was horrendous to see first hand working. ICU is an amazing if terribly scary place. I agree Phil that if no ventilator is being used and just cpap then this is a massive positive

A bit of good news - His temperature has gone down, which hopefully means his fever is going.
