Cool

Good morning everyone from sunny Saltash.
Certainly turned very chilly. We have dark clouds on the horizon, but hopefully they will pass us by and carry on in to the Dark Side.

Going to finish off the painting of the decking today, just a few touch ups needed.

Morning all,

Nice and bright and sunny here in the Midlands. Doesn't feel quite as chilly.

Some (more ) planters to build for SWMBO today.

Andy.

Good morning all, welcome to the day

No mains power since 2pm yesterday. The solar was exhausted after someone forgot and tried to run an electric drill from it. Last night a storm of heavy rains, thunder and lightning, so an early night and started to read in bed an Ellis Peters book “Death Mask” under camping lights. The story was first published in 1959. How different the world was in those days. In 1959 I was 4 years old

The power has just come back on as I write, relief

Good morning Andy, I saw the photo of your scuffed pride n joy. Someone at work you said. That not very friendly or responsible of them not to leave a note offering to pay for the repairs. I wonder if security has it on CCTV?

Morning Phil, I have asked for footage from the cameras, not holding my breath though as I was at the far side of the car park trying to park out of the way!

Morning all, being only about 15 miles south of Colin, weather is the same here. Yesterday was really warm, but today its cloudy and a quite a bit cooler.
I tried to do some work repairing the greenhouse yesterday unsuccessfully, I tried cutting some glass, but the surface I was cutting on wasn't the best,(the grass), so I broke the pane into more pieces than was intended. Need some more greenhouse glass and curved perspex for the sides

Afternoon everyone from another 50 miles South of Rich.
Nice and sunny, but still an edge to the wind here. Irresponsible moron next door has just had a family gathering on his drive/in his garage - him, his father, his son and his daughter - none of whom live with him. No distancing in force and now they've all gone off in his car
There's no point in talking to him to point out the error of his ways - I'd get more sense by talking to the sandstone wall in the back garden
