Thumbs up

I have owned a Stradivarius for the best part of 30 years now. I bought it with my own money and I've played it at many functions in the past - sadly no longer active with it.

Afternoon all, Well it turned beautiful here from mid morning onwards, The sun came out & the clouds disappeared.
I went out shopping with the missus, This is second time I've been out in weeks & the traffic is noticeably more heavy than the other week Everyone must be getting fed up of staying in.
I even managed to get some potting compost it was a local shop for local people just like Arkrights with all manner of goods outside, The old chap said you're supposed to ring in advance because I'm not supposed to be open , Cracking compost & cheaper than B&Q

I've been in the garden planting out flowers I grew from seed & because I'm stupid I seeded the same tray twice with different flowers What a job separating them.

The rhododendrons are out & so are the azalea in the front garden. Bootiful but they only last about two week.

Even Louie wanted to come out into the garden tapping on the window at me but he's a house cat & hasn't been out.

My missus bought me a electric clipper set for Christmas, I've been too hesitant to use it yet on my hair or beard

I watched a few youtube video tutorials on how to cut your hair with clippers but I found a jar of hair cream in the back of the bathroom cupboard, it stinks but it keeps the hair slicked back lol.

I'm going to let SWMBO loose on my hair with an electric hair trimmer.
If I don't reappear in the LCOZ - I'll be laid on the kitchen floor with blood pouring from an accidental (I hope ) severing of the jugular

Evening all, turned out nice this afternoon. Enough to be able to get out for a bike ride.

Like many the sunshine came out around lunchtime and it's been a lovely afternoon.

Good day apart from finding a bit of an issue with my tourer .

Paella for dinner tonight. Looking forward to it .

Andy.

Aye - the day improved as it went along, but the temperature seems to be heading downwards at a rapid rate of knots now - close to a frost overnight I think.
Got less hair now to keep my head warm after SWMBO's efforts with the cutters earlier

Indeed so just been to give the car a run up the road as the battery keeps going flat after days of very little use. I'm having to start it daily to stop the battery going flat. Even that doesn't always work.

If you start it daily and don't let it run for half an hour you will be taking more out of the battery than if you don't start it at all.---

Even that half an hour is just like putting it on a charger for half an hour. Bit of a waste of time really.---

What is happening is your battery is slowly sulphating up. The only way to try and save it is to give it at least 24 hours on a charger.

PS. Running it up the road won't charge it any faster than if you just let it tick-over.--True.
