Good morning all, good morning Richard and thank you for explaining how lockdown is in relation to working.

Here in local news, a football stadium has been converted into a magistrates court to deal with 90 curfew breakers, ease congestion and issue ‘punishment’. At the coast on Sunday night, a mob attacked and beheaded police doing curfew checks at the roadside. I have always considered beheadings to be barbaric. We don’t get involved in such things. If I see any of that sort of thing happening, I keep away from it.

A cloudy day, we might have some more rain.

Morning all - what a lovely day up here! Bright sunshine, clear skies and nice and warm too - bit I understand it's going downhill rapidly at the weekend, with even a possibility of a snow shower or two
An immaculately observed silence around here at 11.00am this morning - remembering the sacrifices that our forebears made so that we can be here today. Let's hope that we can rekindle the "we're in it together" attitude from the 1940s, and get away from the "me, me, me" version which is all too prevalent at the moment.

Sermon over
