Late morning hello to everyone.

Dry here. Started off with complete cloud cover but it's breaking up now and the sun is peeping through.

Much cooler and a lot more wind. I don't think it's anything to do with my butts

Checking my weather app, its going to reach 23C today, warming up over the weekend and getting up to 26C next week, with similar temps forecast for the UK next week 26C-27C. I wonder if that is going to be too hot for some

Yesterday morning, I was listening to the BBC World Service and a 17 year old lad was featured. In the U.S, in January he took note of the virus kicking off in China. He designed a contact and tracing app which has been downloaded 30M times globally. Recently he turned down 8M dollars to have advertising on his app. He said he could have made 50M if he had pushed it, but chose not to have adverts on the app. Quite a remarkable, talented and imaginative young man, a nice story

No go-pro for me; it always seems that those who post videos over here think they are in law enforcement but become the worst proponents when it comes to compliance.

I won't ask if you are one of the Lycra brigade Well, Jeff uses a GoPro on Lady Emma and I made in excess of 50 GoPro car meet movies over the years and numerous GoPro underwater movies, but any other claim thinking I am in law enforcement is not there. I know what you mean Fred and those guys get up my nose, the ones who chance it and can break the law on the road, whilst they make sure no one else is allowed to.

No, I don't wear lycra, and each time I've come off the bike, with the occasional hard knock, people ask "were you wearing a helmet?", I've never hit my bonce, and nobody asks if you were wearing elbow or knee protectors.

Evening all. Boy is it wild & windy out there More plant casualties with the wind! Some French beans, Broad beans & cabbages have bent & snapped in the wind Even a terracotta pot of strawberries has blown over & smashed. The BBC weather forecast says 'Fresh Breeze' for Lancs my a*se, It's bending the neighbours silver birch trees over.

It's going to be wild again tomorrow too.

I've made a mild vegetable curry with rice for tea.

Fred, I wear Lycra, it is not a pretty sight and recommend that anyone who see's me in it makes sure they have a sick bag handy.
I have loads of spare helmets. You are welcome to one Gratis. I used to ride with no helmet but realised if I came off and head hit kerb it would be game over.

Peter.

That's very kind of you but I wondered if one can still get your apply that on when the weather gets cold.
