Oi, none of that! We are top of our division, it had better end with us getting promoted!

So the furlough scheme ends in October, what happens to businesses that cannot operate due to social distancing regulations? If this is still implemented how are employers supposed to pay their staff. I was talking to the boss at the coach company I do a bit of work for, he said to keep passengers at a distance of 2m apart in any direction, would only allow a maximum of 9 people on a 57 seater. Atm the furlough payment is TWICE the company's monthly income, so how is he meant to pay 11 wages if the furlough money is stopped?Wont affect me as I just work casual as and when required, and I have my business as an income anyway, but its worrying times ahead.

There will be lots and lots of firms that go to the wall Richard, the system has not been thought about, neither has the track & trace idea.

I have been working right through all of this, lets say I get a message to self isolate due to being in contact with a carrier.. ok, I stay home and get £92 pw ssp. This works out to £398 per Month, this would not cover half my rent!

So much for looking after the folk who have kept going through all of this..

The handling has been diabolical. I hope ours isn’t one of the statistics as the boss started out 32 years ago with one minibus and built the business to what it is today. Plus he has had enough s*** thrown at him over the last 12 months with one thing and another

A sunny and warm welcome to you all, 26C is expected.

From 8th June, flights to London are to resume on Kenya Airways The CEO of the airline says the middle seats on the B787’s and B737-800’s are going to be made redundant with tickets going up by 50-100% to pay for the loss in revenue.

It’s not good news for passengers, but it does mean we can fly to the UK, as and when

This week, I have been filming in the forest and around the garden, the sights and sounds. Today I am hoping to film some of the lizards, green squirrels and wild cats who visit us. No sign of the monkeys, I am not sure where they have gone to.

What’s everyone up to? Washing cars? cream teas?

Cool

Good morning everyone from sunny Saltash.

Hoping to get the ceramic coating topped up on Banana today, then top the wax up on the Bear. All providing I can stop sneezing.

Good morning Bob, if you get the chance take a few photos of Banana and Bear in action having their treats. Hay fever is issue here as we are surrounded by trees and forest. The joys of summer

The mail is still very patchy here! It's another week again since the last time we had any post I've got nine items & a few parcels that are over a month overdue, I've just managed got a refund from those 2x80 ltr bags of bags of compost I ordered in the second week of March after umpteen emails trying to find out what happened to them
Anyone else having issues?
