Good morning Steve, yes that’s right, I will have to do 14 days quarantine when I arrive in the UK.

Thankfully us retirees have little to worry about and it’s a great day for fishing. What about the bowls Steve, when are they resuming?

Been fishing Phil, had a session last week, caught Zero

Bowls not started as yet,the powers that rule are looking at a safe way to start up again,it will probably be a different format which reduces number of players etc on green.

Footy start soon,my mighty canaries need to lift themselves off the bottom.

Mind you they did beat the not so mighty Tottingham in the FA CupCome on yew yellows lets be avin some points in the bag

Oh what a beautiful morning

Sun is shining in the sky,not a cloud in sight

Maybe I should have been a song writer

Morning all, already hot out there, remember your sun tan lotion if you are venturing out.

Evening all, been a lovely hot day today, been for a nice walk along the riverside this afternoon.. Yesterday I went for bike ride with my son, crossed over the bridge and started on the south side of the river and rode along to Blaydon , stopped at Scotswood bridge for a rest, then crossed over that bridge back on to the north side, picked up the old Wylam North to Newcastle disused railway line, which is now a public right of way for walking and cycling, then rode down to the riverside industrial estate and picked up the riverside path. We then followed it back to Newburn, crossed back over Newburn bridge to the van and came home. Last night myself and my Mrs went for a nice walk through the fields outside the next village, did about 6 miles altogether, hopefully all this extra exercise will help get rid of the pot belly I have acquired over the last year or so.
