... and I thought I was the fussy one around here.

You have a good eye Michael, but the door is in fact level and hasn't dropped, what you see is the bottom left corner door is slightly sitting forward against the rear quarter. The front wings were replaced and door aligned to suit, but this has left the rear door slightly out. The hinges and pins have been replaced, the door now shuts perfectly, so I'm leaving well enough alone.

I was out in the Capri today, I revisited my old boy-racer circuit where I spent most of my youth. The last time I was there stood posing with a red Capri was a very long time ago, it was normally on a Friday/Saturday night trying to pick up girls.

Instead I had to settle for a rainy Monday afternoon, it was fun to reminisce though, but I couldn't find anyone to race.

The finishing touch, dash cover sorted ready for some shows next summer.

The amount of work that has been done to the Capri has put her in much better condition than my ZT, it makes sense I guess as the Capri is worth 6 times as much.

I should stop neglecting the MG's though, I guess it's time for some TLC.

In the meantime the Capri is looking younger than ever.

When your daughter is given a retro 80's assignment, and dad has a Capri and some old 80's boomboxes... everything just falls into place.

Cheers Andy, we got some good shots and had some fun at the same time.

I couldn't resist a few more.

With a bit of luck I'll soon be writing a few words for a motoring magazine, If it works out I'll be very happy!
