I'm really sorry to hear about the job situation. Having met you for the first time at Longbridge in April, and witnessed there just how much of a dyed-in-the-wool MGR enthusiast you are, it must be gut-wrenching for you to feel that there is no option but to give up a car of this scarcity.
For those of you who have not seen Justin's car in the metal, its fabulous colour, Phoenix Four history, tiny mileage, showroom condition and top specification mark it out as being very special. I'm clutching at straws here but, instead of selling it, is there any way you could rent it out to a trusted and willing member of the Club for, say, a year so that you get some money to tide you over and, medium term, also get to keep the car? |

I think a suitable member would have to have at least 4000 posts under his belt

Thanks for the kind comments Craig. It's a fantastic idea but i doubt anyone would want to give the car back having used it for a year

Please let us know when this beauty is sold so I can stop dreaming of owning it Even the wife says I can buy it, but I've still not got the bottle to have four MGRovers.

Hi Guys,
Well the car sold last night to someone i know will look after it. He is definitely the right person to look after the car as he currently has 2 MG's both with monogram touches, I'm sure he will announce himself soon. Can i say a big thank you to everyone for your comments and support, this is a great forum full of great people. At least i've still got my monogram ZTT CDTi (and the 75 at the moment) so i will hopefully see some of you at a show soon. Justin.

Hi Basil, thanks for the comments and your e-mail too. After losing the V8 you'll have to prise the ZTT keys out of my hand!
