Default White Gold, White Gold 2

Hi, great forum my first post. I bought my Rover 75 back in March it’s a 2003 2.0 CDT Club saloon I’ve never owned a Rover/MG (or any BL vehicle before). I got it to replace my Audi A4 that I’d had since 2011 it had been a right pain having lots of problems. I thought I’d like the 75 but I didn’t realise how much, I absolutely love it it’s everything the A4 wasn’t reliable, great to drive, classy.

Anyway unfortunately some jealous idiot has keyed the passenger door (deeply) so I’m wondering if replacing the door with another of the same colour would be a good match. The colour is White Gold 2 (GMN) I have seen a colour called White Gold also listed am I right in thinking this was an earlier colour possibly used around 1994 on Rovers then. So is White Gold 2 the only one used on 75s? would I be better going to a body shop to see what they could do or looking for a replacement door in the same colour? Would appreciate any help and if anyone has a passenger door in White Gold 2 let me know thanks.

keep a look out in the traders shops and parts for sale. I have been told there's one in my local breaker's, but 1 you're too far away, and 2 I'll be after any body parts first, can you guess why lol?

Funny that, I bought white gold 2 to do my Mk1 75 front bumper when I bought the car and it is 2 shades off.
I bought white gold when I replaced the bumper for an MG mk1 and it is a perfect match to the original 75 colour.

White gold GMN for me... ( I have 2 shop filled cans of white gold 2 GMN if anyone would like, cost 16.00 per can from Ketts Autopaints, you can have the 2 for 20)

Had my back bumper repair tend GMN ,but it's OT the same colour as the rest of the car, so it's going back at the end of the month to get re painted and some more small body repairs done, this time they have taken a spare bumper from the car which is a perfect match,so they. can get the colour mix correct.

The colour variation on white gold varies a lot! Some looks unlacquered, some have a deep lustre to them!!
