Simple really, I have been searching the net for info and came across a Youtube video (which was not English), I watched the OP type in code 1983 which brought up the logo screen, thats it, no hidden powers I'm afraid. Just select 'Setting' from the menu tiles. Scrolled down to 'Logo Setting' this brings up 0-9 window. Enter code 1983 and press 'ENT' Jobe done. |

That would make sense, new version correcting the on/off issue.
I wonder why they deleted the Logo Setting? It would be interesting if all who have purchased one to post up your firmware version and build date. |

Maybe thought it wasn't needed as you can set your own logo from the photo section.

I've been asked what the 2x short red wires are for on the 6m RCA video camera cable, so here is a quick diagram to roughly show what goes where. The two short red wires coming out of each yellow RCA plug that is on the 6m video cable is to send the signal of power to trigger the head unit to activate the AUX screen and show the image from the rearview camera. One red wire connects to the Pink trigger wire at the head unit, the other end of the red wire on the video camera connects to the reverse power wire at the light cluster (this is the green wire with the brown stripe). How To HERE!
You can introduce a separate in-line 'Fuse' between the green/brown reverse light wire and the red power camera wire. The BMW car harness that needs to be purchased doesn't have the Pink camera trigger wire, so you either have to use the original ISO harness that comes with the 2din unit or manually add in the Pink wire. You have the option to cut the 'male' plugs off the newly bought ISO and connect each wire in-turn to the original ISO harness that came with the 2din unit. I chose to manually add in the Pink wire to the correct terminal on the black power plug of the newly bought BMW harness. You will need a spare ISO cable with a 'Male' black plug on the end, you will need to pop-out any of the wires to use as one PINK trigger camera wire, I used a precision screwdriver to carefully un-clip the wire from the black plug. Once you have un-clipped one of the wires, you only have to push it into the newly purchased harness at the 'male' plug end that pushes into the rear of the double din. Making sure you have chosen the correct terminal on the black power plug, you can reference back to the original ISO harness that came with the double din to get the correct position (its position 1, opposite end of Red power wire). Hi Wes, just stumbled across this thread. Congratulations on the work so far.
The 190 (Rodger) has a WinCE unit fitted, which I am happy with, but need an up to date DD head unit for the Kia Sedona family bus. I think you have just helped find one! Cheers!
