Afternoon all, Beautiful afternoon here, T-shirt weather in fact.
I'm laughing at the terrible twosome cats who are running along the conservatory windowsills chasing fallen leaves blowing past

Gammon joint, new potatoes browned off in garlic butter with savoy cabbage & asparagus for tea tonight.

That'll teach me to keep my mouth shut! Started raining 10 minutes after I said it was T-shirt weather and to top it off my computer monitor has gone belly up

So sorry for your loss Richard.

At least she is now free from pain and passed with all the love from her family and friends to take with her on her final journey.

If you want a chat you have my number.

All the best thoughts to you and yours at this time.

Morning all, Dark dank & damp with weather warnings out later today for heavy rain & local flooding, deep joy just as I've got the garage dried out

Morning all, thanks for all the kind wishes and comments, it means a lot. I’m still in a state of “ not with it”. I had a few tears yesterday, but have been ok since, as had a lot of phone calls to make ,and thing s to do.I will have more to do over coming months, as I am co executor of her will, along with the solicitor. This will take time as it will need to go through probate. The other thing is I can’t use her account to pay for things associated with winding up her estate because there is another person mentioned in the will.

Cool

Morning all from damp and miserable Saltash.

My friends are going home today. Going to miss them. Their boy, John Louis, is very thoughtful, polite and well behaved. Loved having Sapphire the failed police dog stay here. It is so wonderful seeing Lisa looking so well after all her cancer treatment. As for my very good friend John, got me so drunk the other night that when I finally found my bed and collapsed in a heap on it, and broke it.

They are coming back soon, and I’m looking forward to it.

Morning all - it's a cold, grey day here, having had a very heavy dew (frost) overnight. Shopping day today, and we are having EIGHT for Sunday lunch, so that means a rather large lump of dead cow - I'll be round with the begging bowl later
