Default Air quality

I dont know whether it is just me, but leaving the house earlier to queue to get into the chemist, I could smell manure. I live in a housing estate, that is perhaps a couple of miles away from the nearest farm. My family have lived in the house all of my life (and before), but I think last time I could smell this was in the eighties.

It could be someone doing Rose's of course, but I have noticed the air reminding me of the seaside recently. .....

Has anyone else noticed an improvement?

You could be right. After all traffic has nosedived, this week in particular. My daily 50 minute commute has halved, an eerie experience driving home. Seen more traffic at 6.00am on Christmas Day!

I am below a flight path, but maybe 10 planes a day.

Due to working flexi time, I changed my commute to leave at 930 and be in work at my desk in 20 minutes, instead of the hour plus, if I tried to be for 9. That is a different situation though, but it has made me less stressed as a whole.

There have been reports of the canals in venice being the cleanest for years. I dont think we will have clean air, but for a whole day least, it could be as clean as it was in the eighties (even though most cars then didn't have catalytic converters etc).

A quick look on flight tracker shows less than half the normal air traffic, I am surprised it is that high with the amount of airlines grounded. Maybe a lot of them are cargo or military?

The roads have less traffic than Christmas day. It is getting odd, you get to a junction and you look both ways and nothing is coming. I was at a set of traffic lights this morning and I was the only vehicle in view where as normally on those lights you are lucky if you get through in 2 or 3 changes of the lights at any time of the day.
