Morning.

Another overcast and cool start to the day here. Due to be high 20's later on.

Off for a walk with Quizzie & her boyfriend in an hour or so. Bertie is a 17 month old, 35kg golden retriever . It'll be their last walk together as he goes into Guide Dog training at Leamington later this week .

Have a good one.

Andy.

And it is a good morning from us. Currently 17C, 25C this afternoon. Jessica has gone for a walk in the forest and her Cystitis is improving with no burning yesterday or last night. If this is maintained, next week we will go away either camping or to the coast. It will be a significant trip as Jessica has not been anywhere since last July.

I have a few chores to do round the house and garden.

Have a great day

A very good morning to anyone who is still in the room - from a hot, sunny, humid, airless, sultry day. The pesky grass is a foot high again, so the lawns are my job this morning.
I seem to have developed, at the ripe old age of 69.5 years, a sudden case of hay fever. I know the symptoms as both my son and daughter suffer - and I seem to have the lot. It's amazing how it clears up when the pollen count is low, but whilst it's high, I need to walk around with a bucket round my neck for the runny nose.

Mornng Bob Ian Andy,Andy Phil and Rod, nice day here, very warm but overcast at the same time. I’m having my “holiday” this week, not going away just having days out. Not sure where we are going today but tomorrow we are heading to Bamburgh for a day at the beach, the forecast is a bit iffy but hopefully it will be wrong and we won’t get rained on or thunder. My sister and the kids are staying that way for the week so will be having a catch up with them whilst in said vicinity. On Wednesday , myself and my son are planning to ride the shoreline of Kielder water on the bikes,27 miles in total. Thursday and Friday the forecast is pants too, thundery showers, so we may go to Alnwick Garden.
We want to go to Beamish too but not much point until COVID restrictions are lifted because none of the transport vehicles eg; trams buses and train will be running, also a lot of the exhibits will be closed due to the social distancing, so not going to get our moneys worth from a visit just now.

That figure is very interesting as it close to £440. If it was indeed £440 then that figure is indicative of a double charge given that the fee prior to 1 April 2017 was £110 for each type of LPA. So for both types available you should have been charged only £220, providing you did not make any mistakes and had to apply twice?

I found the OPG to be very helpful, always depends who you speak to I suppose, and if they did double charge then you are entitled to an explanation and quite possibly a refund if it was done in error. Regardless of that possible refund are you aware that the OPG is offering refunds to those who paid the correct fees and applied to register a power of attorney from 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2017? You have until 1 February 2021 to make your claim and you can find the details here. Click

At my age, I'm more than happy that at least one part of me is still capable of running
