Default spy-hole mod (suitable grommet?)

How'do folks

I finally got around to "almost" completing the spy-hole mod for checking/clearing the main plenum drain ALMOST....lol.... I hunted around for a suitable sized Grommet to fill a 25mm hole ... I managed to find a pack of 10 from Maplin - however they're too tight a fit to make it of any use....lol

i've got one fitted as i've drilled the hole already but will be time consuming to remove and re-fit - defeating the purpose

does anyone have an ebay or such link for a suitable sized grommet they have used ?

one thing of note - my drains have stayed clear and chambers dry since i cleared them with my tool of choice (8 months ago ) - i'll post a pic if i can - it's like a pipe cleaner brush thingy.... anywho, it seems to have cleared the drains well enough for them to work and it hasn't deformed them

I had similar problems with a 25mm grommet, although it was the thickness of the plastic panel that was the issue. I used a half round file on the edge of the hole until the plastic was thin enough to fit comfortably into the recessed part of the grommet.

Use a round file and make the hole bigger, it's only thin plastic so not too much hassle
Erm, as earlier post

Never bothered with a grommet. Mine was just a hole and I never had any problems.

Thread moved to a more appropriate forum. Re-direct left in old. This may be the better forum as threads get ‘lost’ very quickly in the General Forum.

Hi Paul.
Please find below a link as to ones that fit, I know you do not need so many but I purchase quite a few because I have 10 plenum trays which I pre drill and take to our nano meets, therefore they can be swapped out by members them selves, if you attend meets you could do this also.

I have only just finished pre drilling the ones from the last meet we had on the 15th 16th few pics below for you good luck Arctic.
