Default Well done Ingerland Ingerland Ingerland.

Got the job done in an impressive way over the Old enemy.About time too after the heartache they have caused us at previous tournaments. Some big performances tonight, particularly Pickford by making some vital saves.Bring on the quarters on Saturday

I did not think England were that good. Germany were poor and yes Pickford did a great job.
Match was not that good.

It wasn't a classic Ian but the only things that really mattered tonight was the result and to lay some ghosts to rest.

So it's Ukrain next which is which is winnable if we play to our strengths.

Well, I for one was delighted to see England win, I would be even more pleased to see them win the whole tournament.

British teams first!

Tommy 😊

If we do get past Ukraine the semi's and final are at Wembley. Big incentive and advantage to our chances of going all the way. Long long way to go yet though before we can get exited about that.We have form for coming down to earth with a bump when the chips are down.Lets just enjoy tonight for now it's been a long time coming

England fans showed their 'class' too, when Denmark were taking a free kick. Compare to how Denmark fans responded whilst england took their penalty. Totally different class of fan (granted they were outnumbered, but the silence, I listened with respect, was deafening).

To be honest though, booing from.the stands, in my mind has always been part and parcel of football, and the players, being professional should be able and equipped to deal with that.

Public holiday monday, bank holiday tuesday (I think it's a bank holiday) here anyway.

Euro final tickets…
This may be of interest to someone:
A friend has 2 tickets in a corporate box for the England v Italy game on Sunday.
He paid £2,750 each, but he didn't realise when he bought them months ago that it was going to be the same day as his wedding!
If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place.
It's at Leeds Registry Office, at 5pm. Her name is Louise. She's 5'5", red head, size 10, quite pretty, has her own income and is a really good cook!
