Afternoon all.

The sunshine has come out here .

Quizzie has been out frolicking with Bertie, Bridget and Hansen for a couple of hours.

Now absolutely shattered but can smell the birthday cake being baked for our younger son and is desperately trying to stay awake. .

So, it's a trip up North this weekend - assuming M-in-L is all OK and staying in hospital for quite a few days yet. At 81 can't see her being discharged too quickly, but you never know .

Take care.

Just about to head out for the weekly coffee with a friend, then get a takeaway for dinner tonight

What a waste of time that was! We got to Bolton hospital on time at 'J' block for Mams appointment only to be told It's not here it's at Bolton One on the Bolton college campus As soon as the receptionist said that I knew the chances of parking up there midday were zero to none on a good day Sure enough not a cat in h3lls chance of getting in there, The public car parks are too far away & Mam already needed the toilet so I said that's it, Back home & we'll have to re-book the appointment.
This is the second appointment in as row that's been messed up.

Bartering is fairly common.

A bit more bartering and you could have got a finger up the unmentionable thrown in as well

Whilst we're on the subject of medical visits.....

I took Ros to the Oaks Hospital this morning to have her second cataract and lens replacement op. Happy to report all went well.

Sadly () non patients are still not allowed in whilst waiting so I had to lose a bit of time in the Toby Carvery for breakfast

Right, if you'd like to bend over. I'll just check your tonsils while I'm in there.

I'm guessing their appointment letter gave incorrect information on where it was to be held?
If so that is disgraceful and I think a strongly worded letter of complaint should be heading to the healthcare team that made the appointment !
