Good Steve, morning all and welcome to the day.

Got to the airport in Nairobi at 04:00 a.m to be met by long queues lasting an hour or so to get to the check-in desk. The very nice lady at check-in said next time because “you have white hair and your over 70 - push to the front of Sky priority or special
assistance and you won’t have to queue up”….. what a helpful lady.

After that we went to the Java House and had a light breakfast. The flight was full and upon arriving at Heathrow our mate Andy was there to meet us with a very nice car, fully loaded with all the toys. Hotel near Wokingham for the night, then felt peckish at about 11pm

Rang room service. £5 to deliver +

Chicken burger £18 pp

Fish n Chips with mush peas £20 pp

£40 would be a treat, but settled on a burger sharing. To be honest I would have been happy with a sandwich and a glass of milk but sandwiches were not available.

What are your plans?

Have a great day

Another nice and sunny start to the day here.

I'm preparing our Sunday roast pork for lunchtime today. Get it all out of the way before the Monaco Grand Prix and the final day of the Premiership

Tomorrow I'm doing a local photoshoot of a doggy for an elderly couple at their home. Tuesday I'm in Stowemarket photographing a Renault Sport Spider for Car&Classic.

Talking of Monaco...

I've been playing with the new Beta A.I Generative Fill in Photoshop.

Take one of your photos, select the area you want to modify, replacing backgrounds, adding or subtracting items etc. Tell the A.I what you want to visualise and the image then goes up to the Adobe Photoshop Cloud servers and comes back with various examples. All of which are not real photos, just A.I interpretations of what you asked it. It also makes sure that perspective, light, shadows etc blend with your original photo

The jury is out on this being a great tool or the ruination of photography as we know it!

Morning. Trapped by the marathon. As usual there's a water and first aid station with an ambulance in front of the cottages. I went to open the front door for Ging coming home, Maya came into the porch with me . . . . and froze! Who the hell are all these people in front of my house? She wasn't happy about this at all so she proceeded to shout (bark) at them
