Fuel tank & brake pipe change

As already posted I'm in the process of changing all the brake pipelines, would like one further piece of advice, Does the fuel tank have to be removed in order to change all brake lines, or is it as I believe that the brake lines can be threaded over the top of the top of the tank?

I was told by an MOT tester that replacement brake lines don't have to follow the same route as the originals. The essential thing is they must be securely mounted under the car and must be clear of the suspension.

Drop the tank onto the exhaust, don't bother trying to better the original routing for the pipework

All that needs to be done is to undo the jubilee clip securing the flexible pipe from the filler neck, and to undo the four bolts securing the cradle.

Make sure the minimum amount of fuel "1/8th of a tank" isn't exceeded, and you won't spill a drop

The forward pair of bolts on the tank strap are tricky to get at - you can't even see them unless you've got plenty of room to crawl under the floor pan.

Jobs done: Purchased 52 plate V6 connie Wedgewood blue,one owner,42000 on clock ,Virtually pristine.2017 service,new Goodyear tyres,Discs and pads all round,new battery,New cam and timing belts (3rd fitting in life of car),plus full normal service.exhaust 2016.First mod was to bonnet catch .Latest mod,triple heart pace maker. All brake lines changed for copper, all brake hoses changed for Pagid hoses.
