Default CDT vs CDTi?

What is the difference between a CDT and a CDTi? Is it just the mapping on the ecu?

The difference is the addition of the letter "i" as a marketing tool.

Contrary to popular belief, CDT does not signify 116 BHP nor CDTi 131 BHP

the difference is quite noticeable from the start line, both can be remapped I think to 160.

Yep that's what I understood. Mine has the 160 remap. Bet its more fun to have the 116 BHP remapped though from a personal perspective

The I was introduced on later cars, it does not signify its tune, the 131 was only ever an option, introduced in 2001

Yeah bound to be. I reckon some sort of plastic sheet on the drivers seat advised after 116 to 160 remap.
