Default Cam Tap/Knock

Hi Guys, Looking for ideas on what is going on with my ZT 190 as when it's idling it has quite a nasty tapping/knocking which seems to be coming from the belt area of engine.

I have ruled out manifold, vis motors and the valve thingy on right hand side of engine.

It increase's with revs although once over 1500rpm it either disappears or i just cant hear it over the sound of the engine, and the engine sounds sweet as a nut when revving or giving it the beans.

In december it had the belts, tensioner and a new water pump fitted and it was making this sound then but the garage never commented on the tapping, just stating they can be a bit noisy.

Is it possible this is just a lazy lifter or something a bit more extreme like small end or big end.

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

Bump, here is a vid of the offending noise but ignore the banging at the end as that is a neighbour making a racket and not the engine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhX8V5FATWw

Does the noise go when the engine is warm?

No the noise is there when you start from cold and is the same when its warm, it speeds up with revs but gets drowned out over 1800rpm.
