last nonsense about wheels now. I polished up this morning - used some Meguiars ultimate compound to remove the final traces of yuk from the wheels and I think I've got the best I'm going to get without a refurb, and it is good enough for me:
 and  shame i can't drive the car now until the weather improves.....

 I will look at door shuts and engine bay next I think. not sure what to do while this weather is so atrocious
