Default I did it this morning at 76 years old

never thought i would have to get my spanners out again i have two grandsons that have a black belt at mechanics, yes we will be round grandy we will do it for you, they talk the talk but the walking bit is GO OUT THERE AND DO IT YOURSELF IT'S QUICKER, just come in for cup of tea job done one hour and a half, got the compensator from ARCTIC yesterday posted back the old one this morning must say was a bit disapointed to see my old compensator was only streched by 5mm, anyway all done hand brake still not sorted at the drums yet though let my mechanic do this the mechanic i have to pay that is, GARY

like they say do it yourself ,less time and less hassel. very satisfying when you do it yourself and see the end result

Well done. I bet you found lifting the rear carpet was tricky? I too did it when I was 76 and am still recovering!

The title should read "carry on car maintenance" ....sid james would be proud of the OP original header....but good on you for getting out there and doing the work
