Ouch!

When my tourer failed its MOT on a few brake issues; low rear pads, uneven braking on the front(not noticeable when driving) and the dreaded brake pipes. I decided to send it to my local garage for the pipework after doing the rest myself and chickening out of getting involved. And now comes the ouch part. £350.

350 quid to get your brake lines done....a very big ouch with a sharp knitting needle.

i'm getting mine done next month at a local place for £100 for both rears.
. did you not get a quote first?

At that price I would hope they have removed the fuel tank to do it properly. But it's the first heavy bill I've had in the 5 years I've owned it so in the great scheme of things the old bus has done me proud.

I just paid £150 for all the brake pipes to be replaced on my zt-t included dropping the tank at M & G in Bradford.

have you tried speaking to them to find out excactly what they have done for the money
