That time of year
Now winter is approaching it's time to prepare the cars for the winter months, anybody started to get there's ready? I done full body decontamination and tried a new to me sealant to endure the winter months hopefully!
The wheels came off for the same treatment but 2 have corroded slightly on the inside, so they got a good clean and I am debating putting my other set of wheels on! They were going to be summer only but they're well protected and I have the means to maintain them... |

Not getting your clay bar back out then? I have some little handy box for winter with hand warmers, glow sticks (I have a torch too) and high energy bar food stuff!

I'm surprised it is out performing quartz and reload! It is auto finesse tough coat, spent a lot of time on the prep work as I always do just to await durability results now!

I used to use wolfs body wrap, but when the bottle ran out i asked here for recommendations and quartz was suggested. I only put it on the car yesterday so only time will tell. It states on the box that it takes a full 24 hours to really cure, but sadly it got rained on after 12 hours. It is always nice to see it reach that point on the dual carriageway when you hit that speed where all the water suddenly breaks away and blows off the bonnet. My paintwork isnt a showcar standard by any stretch but i like to have it protected ready for winter. |

Yeah getting it protected is definitely a good idea, quartz does come highly recommended! My bodywork is not in the best condition either, will be getting that addressed next year hopefully and then decide whether or not to wet sand or just machine polish then it will be time for a proper sealant!
