I got mine from an outfit near Dorking (the name WILL come back to me .... eventually) along with my LED number plate, boot, interior light and vanity mirror bulbs. It's so easy to take the bumper and light unit out I fit them that way and save the skin on my hands. Make sure you do all your tests before reassembly though.

Several LED 501s I've tried recently won't fit into the hole in the reflector. It's only 10mm diameter and many of these 501 types are 11mm or more. I can't recommend anything for that reason.

I found some that are long, but never a fat one...

These definitely fit and work as I have them fitted to my ZTT.

Hi Steve. There are many styles and variations of these bulbs, I have tried plenty. There are some that fit very snugly, and only just manage to fit through the hole they are supposed to live in because of their length and diameter, they have a lens on the front with 2 smd's and 4 or 6 smd's around the chromed barrel of the main bulb. Fantastic, bright and blueish but not ott. However they get very hot and after fiddling around fitting them, they soon need replacing with various failures of individual smd's and some do a flashing dance as a bonus !
The sets I have fitted mostly this year are here - eBay item number:162045453892 and fingers crossed seem quite reliable so far amongst the S&S members !

It seems to be a lottery really, and takes a couple of goes to get a balance of performance to reliability ratio.

Good luck, and finally - A tip for fitting slightly longer than normal 501 style LED bulbs.
Remove the current bulb as normal, turn the lights on when ready to fit with ignition set to position 1, and set the headlamp position thumb wheel (If fitted) to highest number (4). This will allow the body of the light to travel to the lowest setting giving a clearance greater than normal for the bulb point of entry. This really works well for the bigger bulbs as I found out by trying for myself, and practice this for all side light bulb replacements now.

Cheers JohnH.
