Artistic license. It was closer to 70, but took a wee while to get there Not ment to be taken so literal.

i can start the car up it runs fine for 3-4 seconds then it just cuts the power off

repeat the process still runs for 3-4 seconds then power dies off and doesnt rev above 2800 rpm,

dont think its the o rings or it wouldnt boost at all

also taken pcv out and thats in process of being cleaned bin in thinners for 10 days :-D

when it goes into the stupid mode you can hear the turbo spooling up still as there is no air box on at the mo,#

any one got any ideas or local to leicstershire that would come take a look and help pin point out what it is,
im starting to consider scrapping it now with all the agro its causing me
which would be a shame as she is a nice rare black colour :-D
many thanks si

is car still running ok.

Is it just the PCV fillter you removed.

I thought i fixed mine by changing the O ring's but guess what ?

Fault is back intermittent - no revs above 2800rpm.

I read a post a few days ago where this lack of revs business turned out to be the crank sensor failing to give a signal at high revs so the ECU switched off the fuel until the revs dropped slightly. The signal started again and the ECU went back to full fuel again.

Was found by one of the specialist repairers on here and is a rare but possible fault.

Sorry but I don't know how to locate the thread.
